Crystallization of the Past Masters -- Part 3
APPLYING SHAOLIN SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES FOR COMBAT
The beginning students of the Introductory Shaolin Kungfu Course in Japan in December 2007, like all other Shaolin Wahnam students all over the world, make us proud. Not only they are able to learn in record time using Shaolin patterns for combat, but also they are able to spar for a few hours without panting for breath! And due to the excellent control of their seniors, they are free from injury too.
These are no small achievements. This video series records some of the lessons where they learned applying Shaolin techniques and skills for sparring. It is not unlikely that kungfu practitiones in future may point to these and similar video clips saying these were the people who preserved kungfu sparring for us.
This is the third part of the Japan Introductory Shaolin Kungfu Course video series. This part is divided into the following sections which follow the order the course was taught.
Besides being a review for the course participants, this course provides excellent reference material for those who wish to prepare themselves for more advanced Shaolin Kungfu courses at the UK Summer Camp in July 2008 and the Intensive Taijiquan Course in September 2008.
Please note that you can download the video clips onto your own computer and view them at your leisure. Enter the webpage (not this one) where the selected video clip can be downloaded. Place your computer pointer at the picture or one of the links, and right click. Choose “Save Target As”. Select the directory or sub-directory where you wish to keep the video clip. Click “Save”.
